QR Code Generator

Make a QR code for a link, a WhatsApp chat or your Wi-Fi, and save it as a picture. It never expires.

Type something above to make your QR code.

Ways to use a QR code

  • Shop or business: a WhatsApp QR on the counter or a flyer, so customers can message you without saving your number.
  • Guests at home: a Wi-Fi QR so visitors join your Wi-Fi without you reading out the password.
  • Events and cards: a link to a location on Google Maps, a menu, a form or a website.

Save the picture and print it, put it on a visiting card, or send it on WhatsApp. Anyone can scan it with their phone camera.

Questions

Is this QR code generator free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many codes you make.

Will my QR code stop working?

No. The link or text is stored inside the code itself — it does not pass through our server — so it keeps working for as long as the link it points to works.

How do I make a WhatsApp QR code?

Choose WhatsApp, pick the country and type the number as you normally would, for example 0300 1234567. You can add a message that is filled in when someone scans it.

How do I share my Wi-Fi with a QR code?

Choose Wi-Fi, type the network name and password exactly as they are (capital letters matter) and save the picture. Most Android phones and iPhones join the network when they scan it.

Is my Wi-Fi password sent anywhere?

No. The QR code is drawn on your phone. Nothing you type is sent to us.
